At Propagate Hosting, we believe in treating our customers fairly and transparently. We want you to feel completely confident in the services you purchase from us. However, to maintain the health, speed, and security of our infrastructure for all users, we must enforce strict guidelines against network abuse.
By purchasing our services, you agree to this Refund Policy in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your hosting experience. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new, first-time account registrations on our standard hosting packages.
If you are unsatisfied within your first 30 days of service, you may cancel your account and request a full refund — no questions asked. Please note that this guarantee applies only to your first purchase, excludes certain products (see Section 2), and is strictly subject to the "Zero-Tolerance Policy" clause below.
2. Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Due to the hard costs, licensing fees, and instant provisioning resources associated with certain products, the standard 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to the following services:
- Domain Name Registrations and Renewals
- Virtual Private Servers (VPS)
- Cloud Servers
- Premium Mailboxes
- Website Turbo Packages
Case-by-Case Reviews: While the above items are generally non-refundable, we understand that unique situations arise. We may, at our sole discretion, evaluate requests for partial refunds on these specific services on a strict, case-by-case basis.
3. Zero-Tolerance Policy (Exceptions and Forfeitures)
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. A continued or willful disregard for our Terms of Service harms our network, damages our IP reputation, and degrades the experience for legitimate customers.
Absolutely no refunds, partial or full, will be issued if your account is suspended, canceled, or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy. This applies to all products and overrides any money-back guarantees or case-by-case reviews.
Prohibited activities that will result in immediate termination and the forfeiture of your payment include, but are not limited to:
- Network Abuse: Participation in or initiation of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized network probing.
- Malicious Activity: Hacking, unauthorized access to systems, distribution of malware, viruses, or ransomware, and phishing operations.
- Unsolicited Communications (SPAM): Using our services to send unsolicited bulk email, operating unconfirmed mailing lists, or triggering IP blacklisting.
- Resource Abuse: Intentional exploitation of system resources or attempting to bypass established service limits.
If your account is terminated for cause under this provision, any remaining prepaid balance is entirely forfeited to cover administrative mitigation costs and potential damages.
4. Account Cancellations
You are in full control of your account. You may cancel your service at any time via your hosting control panel dashboard, located at panel.propagatehosting.com.
Cancellation stops all future automated renewals. Unless you are within the initial 30-day money-back window for eligible services, canceling your account does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remainder of the current billing cycle. Upon cancellation, your data and configurations may be permanently deleted.
5. Renewals
Hosting services automatically renew at the end of their billing cycle to prevent unintended downtime or data loss. We do not offer refunds for automated renewals once the charge has been processed. It is your responsibility to cancel your service via the control panel prior to your renewal date if you no longer wish to continue using Propagate Hosting.
6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card issuer or bank without first attempting to resolve the billing issue with our support team, your account will be immediately suspended. We view chargebacks as a breakdown in communication and trust. Reinstatement of an account suspended for a chargeback may require the reversal of the dispute and the payment of an administrative fee.
7. Contact Us
Questions about this policy or a billing issue? Please reach out to our support team before initiating any dispute.
